we have never done a project like this before where the artists choose all the remixers themselves. but for the crazy italoboyz album >bla bla bla< we found ourselves not really knowing what to do. so instead of forcing our own ideas for remixers we went back to the source and let the artists run wild on the a&r. marco and fede commissioned all the remixers themselves. the producers they chose are a very diverse bunch and the vinyl 12inch takes a sampling of the best material from two very big underground names. on the a-side das kraus duo turn it a super jackin yet also very haunting rendition of >oh mio dio.< it sounds like pitched up chicago house meets demon days. on the b-side old school master dandy jack turns in one of the oddest records ever on mothership with some unusual sound design, voices and semi-dischordant note runs. super weird for the super weird! whatever you think of this odd lot no one can deny these remixes definitely carry the indistinguishable mark of that ever so quirky duo, the italoboyz

we would like to welcome deep a and biri to upon you records. these two up and coming young producers from israel have sent us three jackin house tracks, which we know you will enjoy. wed had an eye on them for a while after hearing their tracks that they released for kammer, trapez and rotary cocktail, all the better that they now have another platform for their darker house style. on a1 we have barzilay a track that is dedicated to the club in tel aviv where deep a is a resident and salutes the vibrant energy of the city. b1 is wilder and more psychedelic. deepa & biri made a gem called emergenze that subtly pushes itself forward then rolls over everything in its path. hoya on b2 keeps the mystical suspense level up where it should be, and adds a bouncier tom-groove to round things off perfectly. shalom!

this time is all about peak time. alessio and virgil, masters of evil techno, board the boat with two amazing dance floor killers. the power of the one, on side a, has all the elements needed to make the crowd scream and jump: jackin drums and all those layers of crazy synths creating that tension we all love. on side b, kamun brings some elastic mayhem to our ears. again, a dark dense atmosphere is the vehicle over which the tension evolves. this time, its a fat sawtooth synth which adds all that frenzy to this peak time track.
